Things the Lord hates!

Proverbs 6:16-19
Intro.
It is stated several times in the Bible that man has hated God! But no
where in the Scripture will you find God hating man. You find quite the
opposite!
“For [God so loved]{.underline} the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but
have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

A Word to the Wise

Proverbs 18:6-8
Introduction
Proverbs is FULL of wisdom. Reading, understanding, and applying the
wisdom in the Book of Proverbs is of a great benefit to every person.
This evening, we need to take just these few verses, and apply them to
our life in 2020. It is a “Word to the Wise”.
Prov. 13:1 ¶ A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a
scorner heareth not rebuke.
