Stewardship - Rich in Faith #
Luke 12:13-21
Introduction
I want to continue our series on Stewardship tonight. The Bible has a lot to say about stewardship. I would remind us that we last week, we mentioned this verse:
1Cor. 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
The Bible talks a lot about our finances, our responsibility as stewards of God’s things. We also considered last week, that we have been bought with a price, God owns us!

1. God sees our motive! “take heed” #
Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2. Jesus warning! (15) “beware” #
Josh. 7:21 When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
II. Farmer’s Decision (16-21) #

1. This year, the weather, rain, seed, all resulted in a bountiful harvest! #
