Pro 3:11-12 - My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: 12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Intro.

There is a whole passage in Hebrews 12 that talks about the discipline of the Lord! It is very helpful. Hear, we have Solomons wise words on the matter. These verses are a little different in the previous sets, because, before, we have a reward, here, we just have reason. There is reward, and it is great… it is just not mentioned clearly here.

Introduction

Tonight is more of a shotgun message, it will hit all over the place instead of just hitting one theme. These are the last three verses that I was not able to fit into a category in this chapter. From Proverbs 10 on, we have many sayings that are not necessarily themed, or go together. For sake of thought and continuity, I have been going through each chapter, and connecting the dots between the thoughts that are covered to give us a uniform way to look at them, and cover topics.
