Seeking God’s Blessing #

Psalm 80:1-3

Introduction

We have a Psalm, where the Psalmist is clearly seeking the Lord’s Blessing in his life! We should desire the Lord’s Blessing in our life! Without the Lord’s Blessing, you are wandering blindfolded in a barren desert land. Without the Lord’s blessing, you are standing on Satan’s street corner, begging for a handout. What I’m trying to say, is without God’s blessing, you are in dire need in your life, and no one is going to meet that need!

We need the LORD!

Is it not the LORD that provides our daily food?

Matthew 6:11 “11 Give us this day our daily bread.”

Matthew 6:31–34 “31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
