Introduction

I. Rest (Mark 6:30-33) #

The disciples had just been busy traveling preaching in different villages as Jesus sent them out.
They were relaying to him all that happened.

A. Need of rest #

1. Work, whether physical, or mental wears you out! #

2. Our bodies require rest! #

B. Mandate of rest #

1. Exemplified by God #

Gen. 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
