Proclamations about God. There are many things that can be noted in this Psalm. You could go through and document the Proclamations made about God. Many lessons could be drawn about the character of God. They would be accurate, and good! Tomorrow, take time to read this Psalm again, and note some things about the character of God, it will help you.

Proclamations about the ungodly There are many true facts pointed out about the ungodly in this chapter. I would encourage you to go back through and note them.

Plea of the Psalmist There are some very clear pleas that the Psalmist makes in this Psalm. It would be prudent to take a piece of paper and write these down, and think about how they can be applied to my life.

I. His Contemplation (1) "consider my meditation"

    A. Meditation requires effort
    B. Meditation is commanded!

Josh. 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

II. Consistent time with God (2-3)

III. Consideration to Pleasing God (4-6)

    A. Disdain (4-5)
    B. Destruction of deceitful (6)

Rom. 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

    C. Determine in your life to PLEASE God!

IV. Congregating in God's House (7) “I will come into thy house”

    A. Forgiveness “multitude of thy mercy”

Lam. 3:22 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

    B. Fearful worship

Heb. 12:28 ..., let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
