Romans 8:11, 12-17

Introduction

I accidentally left out verse 11, which goes with the last passage we
covered. And has some very good truths in it that we must cover before
moving on to the next set of verses.

The question is asked in Romans 7:24 -

Rom. 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body
of this death?

1. Jesus Christ in Salvation (Rom 7:25)

This miracle is not recorded in the other Gospels. It is unique to the Gospel of Mark.

Jesus traveled quite a bit, it is estimated about 60 to 70 miles traveling. That would be up to 3-4 day trip of walking every day. The Bible doesn’t explain to us the details about the traveling of Jesus, but that is a lot of walking.

There are other passages that discuss baptism, but this one is very clear.

 I. The Soulwinner (Philip)
 #

• Philip was already actively sharing Jesus!

Acts 8:5–6 —5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
