Mark 14:27-31

Introduction

We are in the last days of Jesus. The disciples are about to pass some of the most difficult trials in their life. Jesus has warned them, but they simply didn’t understand.

I. Offenses will come (Mark 14:27) #

Jesus is the perfect example! He never sinned, nor did wrong!
Offend - 3. to cause (a person or group) to feel hurt, angry, or upset by something said or done

A. Offenses come in many forms #

Jesus is sinless, and didn’t do anything wrong, and the disciples were still offended!

i. Jesus would die #

Jesus had told the disciples, but they had it in their minds, He was the Messiah, and therefore would setup his reign now, they would not see the real plan.
Jesus plan was to die, we see it clearly now!

John 1:29 — The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
