Knowing you are to offer sacrifices, and to go to the Temple. Knowing the laws and books of the Bible that had been given to your people to hold on to. Knowing that God for literally thousands of years had worked through your people. Granted it had been a couple hundred years since a prophet actually had a vision, or prophetic Word from the Lord, but still. Then, the Messiah comes, only, the religious jewish leaders rejected him. What do you do? Jesus, was he really the Messiah? Many of the common people had no problem seeing it, but many of the very religious devout jews greatly struggled with how this fit the passages they had spent their life reading. Many struggled understanding how this now worked, it was a completely NEW way!</p>
