A Psalm of Remembrance
#
Psalm 106:1-5
We have an extensive Psalm before us. There is simply no way to cover all of it. There is an extensive amount of history in this Psalm. We encourage you to read the Bible, so you can be familiar Israel, and history, and the major events of the Old Testament.
Illustration:
Have you ever saw a situation where a woman stays with a man that is abusive, and wonder why does she stay with him??! Much like God stays with us, though we are certainly undeserving.

Revelation 11
#
Revelation 11:1-2
Introduction
In chapter 10, we started a parenthetical statement, in which relevant
information is added to the story.
Example:
George was driving the car, and he was doing a fabulous job.
George was driving the car (he was only 12 years old), and he was doing a fabulous job.
The sounding of the trumpets was introduced to us in Chapter 8,
continued in chapter 9, when in chapter 10, the thought is put on pause,
and relevant information is given to us in chapter 10, and partially
through chapter 11. Where in the rest of chapter 11, it continues the
thought of the sounding trumpets that are proclaiming judgment on the
earth.

Revelation 11:14-18
Introduction
You will recall the woes were introduced way back in chapter 8.
Rev. 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of
heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of
the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three
angels, which are yet to sound!

Revelation 12
#
Revelation 12:1
Introduction
Last week, I barely mentioned the figures that are introduced in chapter
12. I would like to expound a little further on them, particularly the
woman. There are some things that need expounded to help clarify this
chapter.

Rev. 4:1 ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in
heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet
talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee
things which must be hereafter.

Glimpse of Light
#
Revelation 14:1-5
Introduction
We continue in the parenthetical chapters which are shedding light on
the overall picture of things, and are not part of the timeline. They do
help us understand the timeline of events, but are not considered the
next step in the timeline. You will remember, we left off on the 2^nd^
woe, the Sixth Trumpet in Rev 9:13, then of course the introduction is
made in Rev 11:14-15 that the 3^rd^ woe, or the 7^th^ Trumpet cometh
quickly, but that doesn’t fully get explained until Chapter 17… and
seven vials are contained in that 7^th^ Trumpet.

The Wrath of God
#
Revelation 15
Introduction
The word wrath is used 13 times in the Book of Revelation. The word
wrath doesn’t show up in the book of Revelation until chapter 6.
Consequently, that is when the tribulation period starts. The last time
we see the word wrath in the book of Revelation is chapter 19.
Our goal is not to run a word study on the word wrath tonight, but it is
relevant in these chapters that we are looking at. So it is good to have
a background understanding of it’s usage throughout Revelation.

Babylon the Religious System
#
Revelation 17:1-5
Introduction
One thing we notice in the book of Revelation, is that the Devil, Satan,
that old Dragon, is a great imitator of God. He mocks, and sets up his
own ways to mimic what God does. Notice the similarity of these two
verses:
Rev. 17:1 ¶ And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven
vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew
unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many
waters:

Babylon's Fall - Political/Commercial
#
Revelation 18:1-8
Introduction
Notice, that the Fall of Babylon is referenced back in Revelation
14:6-8. Let's go back and look at it. Clearly that is the timeline of
events, and Revelation 17-18 are parenthetical statements, clarifying
the details of the fall of Babylon. In Chapter 17, we noted the fall of
the religious system of Babylon. It seems more of a system, than a
physical, actual place. Notice in Revelation 18, the wording certainly
lends itself more to a physical place, and location that would represent
the center of political or commercial activity.

Victory Celebration
#
Revelation 19
Introduction
There are three things that are clearly noted in this chapter. Clearly,
we can see the Worship, the Wedding, and the War. All three of these
things are positive things. Considering the fall of Babylon, and the
wickedness that is described in those two chapters, this chapter is a
breath of fresh air.

The Millennial Reign & Judgement
#
Revelation 20:1-3
Introduction
The Millennial reign of Jesus Christ, is a literal 1000 year reign of
Jesus on the Earth! The Old Testament foretells of this, and this is
literally what the Jews expected when Jesus came the first time. They
didn't understand his coming as a lowly Lamb of God to take away the
sins of the World.
